The Government has agreed £20 million funding for the new community hub, with swimming baths, gym, library, community space and play park. A big thank you to all those who have supported the campaign over the last few years.
This is confirmation of what we posted back in early February.
This will enhance significantly what our wonderful town of Marple has to offer to our community.
We understand a further consultation will be had to finalise plans before planning application and work starting, possibly by the end of this year. The artistic impressions are not indicative of actual plans.
