Councillor Annette Finnie has requested a review into bus provision in Marple and High Lane by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), following the removal of the 303 service which runs from High Lane to Hyde a couple of days a week with a very limited service.
Currently High Lane to Marple only has the 394 every 2 hours plus the irregular 303 service. The 394 was reduced to 2 hourly from every hour last year. With the removal of the 303 service provision between Marple and High Lane has been greatly reduced.
TfGM have confirmed the instigation of a review of the current bus provision between High Lane/Hawk Green and Marple. This review will include historical demand for these trips and the decisions taken in regards to the 394 service, and hope to report by early October 2017.
