Latest Scheduled Roadworks
30th October: Compstall Road, Romiley
Contractors working on behalf of Electricity North West will be undertaking works to rectify a defect on Compstall Road, Romiley between the junctions of Guywood Lane and Oakwood Road. These works are scheduled to take place on the 30th October between the hours of 9.30am and 3.00pm and will require the use of temporary traffic lights.
Stockport Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on the adopted section of Townscliffe Lane, Marple Bridge. These works will be carried out by our Alliance Partner Colas Ltd.
The work is anticipated to commence from Monday 30th October and is expected to take up to 14 days to complete, weather permitting.
Unfortunately, to minimise disruption and allow safe working operations to take place it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements utilising a temporary prohibition of driving (road closure) from 8.00am to 4.30pm. During these times signed diversion routes will be in operation.
30th October - 12th November: Glossop Road, Marple Bridge
Contractors working on behalf of Stockport Council will be undertaking hedge and retaining wall repairs, following a road traffic accident, on Glossop Road, Marple Bridge, between the junctions with Cote Green Road and Sandhill Lane. These works will require the use of temporary traffic signals from 30th October 2017 to 12th November 2017, between the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm only
