Local campaigner, Pat Bentley, has written to Greater Manchester transport bosses calling for a new bus service between Romiley and Stepping Hill Hospital.
Pat said.
"Speaking to many local people in Romiley, I know how valuable a bus service to the hospital would be. Parking at Stepping Hill has become a nightmare and for many who cannot drive to appointments, this means forking out for expensive taxis. It is high time that transport bosses listened to local people's needs and priorities. I am fighting hard to secure a new bus route to connect Romiley to Stepping Hill Hospital.
